The Wanderer is the main character of Alter Ego as well as a surrogate for the player. The player chooses what the Wanderer will say to Es based on options given, all of which can affect the ending of the game.

The Wanderer is depicted as a completely cloaked achromatic figure who's face is never depicted in the game. They wear a tall pointed hat and a black satchel.

Due to The Wanderer being a player surrogate and representation of the ego, the personality of the character is entirely interpretational and based on the actions of the player.
