Hello, welcome to my kin related thoughts! Let's get the important stuff out of the way. What is kinning? That depends on who you ask, but I personally define is as wholeheartedly relating to a character or thing. Feeling a heartfelt connection based on something about that character speaking to you. Like you're the same person or you've shared experiences or feelings with them.
Technically, this isn't kinning in the stricter sense, but I still use the term for ease of access. I'm fully aware that kinning has spiritual aspects as well or a relation to belief in past lives but I personally don't hold those beliefs. I'm not an atheist or anti theist per se, I prefer the term agnostic. I'm more neutral about my lack of personal beliefs and I wholeheartedly agree that others should be free to believe whatever they wish.
